Keith Rothfus Responds to Congressman Critz's Mud Slinging

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Pittsburgh, PA – After Keith Rothfus called on Congressman Critz to follow through with his tepid and insincere rebuke of President Obama and endorse Mitt Romney, Mr. Critz decided to avoid the topic altogether and instead continued his attempt to deceive the voters of PA-12.  Jonathan Raso, spokesman for Keith Rothfus, responded:

"It’s no surprise that liberal Congressman Mark Critz, who has blindly followed President Obama and Nancy Pelosi, avoided the endorsement of Mitt Romney.  Ironically, his response shows the people of Southwestern Pennsylvania just how out of touch he really is.  We as Southwestern Pennsylvanians do want someone who will fight for jobs, that’s why with 40 months of over 8% unemployment and no end in sight, we’re looking for change.  We do want someone who won’t carry a leader’s water, so with our current representative having voted for Nancy Pelosi as speaker, voted with her leadership 95% of the time, and sided with President Obama 70% of the time, we’re looking for someone else.  We do want someone who will work to find common ground and put people first, so after the Democrats pushed through Obamacare and left seniors’ health at risk, we were surprised and disappointed when Congressman Critz voted to defend Obamacare 20 times.  It’s sad that with all the mud Congressman Critz is trying to throw at Keith Rothfus, Mr. Critz is the only one with a record it can stick to."

"A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."
