Run, Mark, Run!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEPITTSBURGH, PA - After several prominent Democrats announced this week they were skipping the 2012 Democratic National Convention, Congressman Critz thought it would be a good idea to jump on board due to some “internal polling.” Jonathan Raso, spokesman for challenger Keith Rothfus, commented,
“Congressman Critz, like any typical politician, has decided not to attend the DNC only after “internal polling” told him not to. He can run from President Obama all he wants but he can’t run from his record. This is just the latest ploy in Congressman Critz’s attempt to distance himself from the President in desperation of saving his political career. Attending or not attending the DNC will not change the fact he voted with Democratic leadership 77% of the time (that’s more than 3 out of every 4 votes) in the current Congress and voted with Nancy Pelosi 95% of the time during her leadership. It won’t change the fact that he voted to uphold Obamacare 20 times. It won’t change the fact that during his time in Washington unemployment has never been below 8%. And it won’t change the fact that Congressman Critz is wrong for Southwestern Pennsylvania, and that the people of Southwestern Pennsylvania are hungry for a change in leadership. How gullible does he think we are?”
